Content Creators & Influencers

All events are to happen during the month of June

Make sure to signup, as all official fundraisers get the benefits of access to one-on-one help from the core team, and the official Discord which features important updates, any discounts for official participants, and encouragement from fellow fundraising participants.

Livestream

Official live stream participants may work freely in any art form of their choosing. The end goal must be to produce a Pride themed work of art.

Live stream participants are also expected to use one of the official fundraising campaigns that have been set up by Fabulous Marines to accept donations (either StreamLabs Charity or YouTube Giving).

Streamers are encouraged to include donation links prominently in any stream descriptions and chat bots.

Official streamers will be listed on our livestream schedule on the Main and Events pages of the Fabulous Marines website, and streamers on Twitch will receive an invitation to the Fabulous Marines Twitch Team.

YouTube

Official YouTube creators may work freely in any art form of their choosing, so long as the end result is a pride-themed artwork.

In addition, YouTube creators should include an intentional call to action for their viewers to donate within their videos.

If you are a monetized creator, join the YouTube Giving campaign to make it simple for your viewers to donate. If your channel is not monetized, make sure to include links to the main fundraising campaign in your videos and descriptions.

Official YouTube creators will be included in the official event playlists on the platform, in addition to being listed on the Events and gallery pages of the website. Properly hashtagged social media posts about your videos will also be shared on official channels.

Podcast

Podcast participants are encouraged to have conversations about why the Fundraising initiative is so important in a civil and positive manner. Include a call to act in your podcast, and make sure to join the official YouTube Giving Campaign as well as include a link to fabulousmarines.com/donate in your episode notes.

In addition to being featured on the Main and Events pages of the website, Podcast creators will have properly hashtagged social media posts shared on official channels.

TikTok / Instagram Reels

Creators may work freely in any art form of their choosing, so long as the end result is a pride-themed artwork. Be sure to include a specific call to action for donations either through your own personalized StreamLabs Charity link, or through fabulousmarines.com/donate

Official participants will be featured in Fabulous Marines playlists, as well as being featured on the Events and Gallery pages of the website.

Why We're Doing This

The Trevor Project launch has worked to build a safer, more-inclusive world for the past twenty-five years. Their crisis counselors are trained to answer calls, chats, or texts from LGBTQ+ young people who reach out on a free, confidential hotline when they are struggling with issues such as coming out, LGBTQ+ identity, depression, and suicide. They also provide education, peer support, legal advocacy, and other tools, all in pursuit of their vision of a world where all LGBTQ+ young people see a bright future for themselves.

Many Fabulous Marines participants wish they had a resource like The Trevor Project when they were growing up and figuring things out. We understand the importance of helping people with feeling accepted and offering guidance during the turmoil of figuring things out about themselves and their relationships with others.

Additionally, we know the value of having resources available to help understand how best to support loved ones. We believe education on the topics of sexualities and genders is necessary for the entirety of the community as a whole, allies and LGBTQ+ folks alike.
